Great little card punch

Ok, so I had read that the guide doesn't work when punching cards on the short side, but if you're using the standard sized pvc card it ends up being the exact size of the punch platform so you just put your fingers on either side of it to keep it centered, punch, and voila, a perfectly centered punch on the short side! It is pretty sturdy and alot easier than a handheld punch. This really is a handy little card punch and because it's small it makes storing it when not in use easy. I'm happy I chose it and would buy it again.

This product worked like a charm, and it cuts through the plastic very well. Not a super durable construction, but it was inexpensive, and gets the job done. I only dropped a star because the guide doesn't go small enough to center a hole on the short side of the card. It is easy enough to eye ball the center, but I am a stickler for precision and consistency.

I wanted to match the same size hole that I have on my work ID, and this does exactly that. Though the guide does nothing for me for this specific job, it punches the hole through a 30Mil white PVC with ease. I use it on occasion. After measuring what size I'm looking for, and finding this product among the cheaper, available slot punchers... I feel this is the best one after researching the other products. I'm happy. Also, they shipped on time.

Works well on 30 mil pvc id cards.
However if you accidentally try to punch two cards the cross bar holding the cutter will bend and it won't even punch all the way through a single card after that.
Fortunately we were able to use a screwdriver to bend the cross bar back into place and it is punching all the way through single cards again.
