Purchased this for my third baby. Wish I had found this sooner. Very soft - not itchy (I'm sensitive to wool) I love the added car seat hole- though we've only used that feature once. I keep my house at 62 for winter nights. I dress baby in cotton footie, this 4-season bag and I add a plush blanket wrapped around babies bottom half. Babies hands get cool but babies body is completely warm. I have not purchased any woolite to wash- I use a little detergent and dry on low heat. No issues so far.

I definitely should have invested in this sooner. Our daughter is 8 months old and we live in an older house in the midwest- so I needed something for the cold nights! We've gone through all the different weights of Halo Sleep Sacks and none of them can compare to this. Its a perfect weight and I've stopped worrying about her freezing hands every morning because she stays nice and warm now! She's never gotten overheated, and theres lots of room for her to grow. Have only had this for a little over a week for our 4 month old daughter. So far we both love this baby sleeping bag! It was getting to the point that it was hard to find sleep sacks that fit her as she is 25 1/2" long and a skinny baby. This was the perfect solution, though it's expensive, it will hopefully last her for a few years. I washed it before the first use on the gentle cycle in our washer with Eucalan wash. Tried to tumble dry on low but it just wouldn't dry. Layed it out for the day inside and that was enough. It went through the cleaning and drying process very well. It seems very well made and love the extra snaps under the arms to fit the smaller babies.
We live in Southern California and even with it being warmer right now our baby does not over heat. Very happy with our purchase! The lavender gray color is a little more gray then expected, but still a pretty color.

Just go ahead and buy it! After 6 months of using polyester fleece or poly-filled sacks (nice brands too--Hanna Andersson, Dwell Studio, Gap), I am so glad I found this sack. I wouldn't sleep with a poly blanket, how could I make my baby? I had concerns this wouldn't be soft enough, but it is lovely soft wool on the inside and worn t-shirt cotton on the outside. The guide on how to dress your baby in it is helpful. Scents are absorbed, you rarely need to wash it. Worth every penny, will last a long time. I would recommend this to everyone. The lavender color is beautiful, true to picture.
