Works well in rain at city speeds.

Got this so that I didn't have to pack a full face helmet on my recent road trip through the back roads of Florida. Once the clouds got dark I popped this baby on and even in strong tropical cross winds it kept the storm rains out of my eyes and most of my face. It's not completely water proof though given the raised snap connectors. Which is why I probably wouldn't recommend only using this to shield your eyes during heavy rain at highway speeds. But is certainly better than nothing!
Works great and at an awesome price.

Love it. Works well on my Gmax half helmet. I usually have to wear goggles since I have never found a pair of sunglasses I can ride with that my eyes don't get beat up....well, with this shield on...no problem with any sunglasses I own. Also eliminates that lifting feeling with half helmets at higher speeds. Reduces wind noise slightly too! I would definitely buy again....and will when I order my clear version for night riding.
Good product-needed some tweaking

Item arrived on time & is as pictured; a decent product out of the box, but has a couple of minor issues-the double snaps are good because they allow you to put a visor on over, but they rattle a bit, even at low speed; and the outer edges are unsupported so they tend to flap at high speeds; however, a couple of pieces of generic foam weatherstripping took care of both issues; shield works great now, good wind deflection even at high speeds, and excellent field of view-almost 180° (depending on your peripheral vision) the smoke tint is a bit light for full sun, but does allow you to transition from sun to cloudy & even to night without having to stop and remove or change it.
Nice general shield

This worked well with my size large half helmet. The outer snaps allow a visor to be placed, though I don't use that option. At first one snap kept coming off, which made me skeptical. However after working to secure all the snaps, it held up nicely at highway speeds. Some wind does swirl so glasses are still recommend, but I liked the frontline protection from road debri and bugs to my eye area. It is not perfectly optically correct, which wasn't expected, but nothing was significantly visually distorted either.
I loved it!!! While it lasted

This shield WAS great, nice and clear, and really took the wind off of my eyes.
Made a more useful and comfortable helmet of my cheapie Outlaw Half.
But the first good crosswind blew off, it skittered and scraped it's way down the highway.
(It WAS snapped on as tightly as possible)
Now, it's done for...Got 1/2 day of use out of it.
This is the second Echo shield I've had, the first was a full face flip-up type.
It got blown off by a semi truck going by me.
I thought maybe the shorty would be less likely to blow off, but obviously not.
Am going back to my full face Nolen modular helmet.
