I got this for marching season and I love it. It really helps save chops and allows me to play higher longer. My only complaint is that you need to refine your sound if you want to play this during the show. I had a friend get it and they sounded like they were playing the kazoo.
Another thing is that if you are getting this for marching band, get your school's color. This really messed me up and I almost bought another.

This is my 3rd Kelly and first screamer, it is excellent. It plays way better than previous mouthpieces (I haven't gotten marks on my lips as I have with other mouth pieces) love this for marching band not having to keep my mouthpiece warm for cold games as you do with a metal one. I have received many compliments as well. An excellent product and is very well made. I have friends who have used these mouth pieces and loved them as well (I heard from the previous section leader at my school). After using a Kelly you won't want to go

This mouthpiece is great for hitting notes high above the staff, but the tone and pitch start to suffer after the first few notes above the staff. It is very comfortable on the lips and it does not need to be warmed up like most other mouthpieces. I would recommend this for anyone trying to play far above the staff easily, but for a full-time mouthpiece, it might not be the best choice.

The Kelly Screamer in plastic is a cheap way to experiment with a specialized type of trumpet mouthpiece. It is not for beginners . It will take some practice for experienced players to get everything out of this mouthpiece. It is a very shallow design and is very easy to over blow, I use it as a training aid for a slightly deeper MP I have been using....... joe
