but it makes this terrible buzzing sound when it is plugged into the wall ...
the Scientist•April 16, 2018
Works in that it charges your laptop, but it makes this terrible buzzing sound when it is plugged into the wall and not into your computer. Guess its a great unexpected feature in that it helps you conserve energy by unplugging when it's not in use? I purchased 3 in one go and had the same experience with all of them. I don't mind putting up with it for the cost though.
Like other reviews stated

It does the job and fits my laptop. Like other reviews stated, the cord is pretty short and the battery is bulkier than my previous ones, but it is light so it's not too bad bringing around. So far it doesn't overheat like my old battery started doing before I replaced it, and it charges my laptop pretty fast.
Power cord is way too short.

While the power supply works just fine, the cord that connects the bulky power block to your computer is only 43 inches long. This is WAY TOO SHORT. You end up sitting on a couch or on your bed with the power block being lifted into the air by the connector in the back of your laptop! The power block is also MUCH bigger than the last one I had (which did burn out).

Causes Mouse problems when charging, a three wire charger does not.
Does the Job

I bought this to have as a second charger for my Dell laptop. It works/charges the laptop up fine (and fairly fast), I just don't like the mysterious wining sound that it makes when it's plugged in - it kind of sounds like it's going to explode. (It hasn't.)
