Cooking for 7 mins turned out well
Folantin•October 20, 2017
I ordered the Tinkyada Brown rice pasta which comes in a pack of six. I'm down to my last box and I think I finally have it right. The instructions on the box said to cook this for 12-13 minutes but 2 minutes less for oven baking. The result: the noodles were WAY too soft--sort of melted in your mouth, but not in a good way. I like a bit of texture to my lasagna. Anyway to make a long story short, I eventually tried 7 minutes which really improved texture. Plus the lasagna noodles didn't glue to each other so much after cooking (you know, when you rinse them.)

My noodles arrived in near perfect condition, only a few small chips on one or two noodles per box, not a big deal. I was so glad to have these so I can finally make gluten-free lasagna! They cooked perfectly, just like regular noodles, and tasted the same too.

I use this for a family member with sever allergies. It the ONLY brown rice pasta I like. I'm sorry but every other pasta i've tried has been gross. this is actually delicious. It doesn't fall apart like the other brands. FYI it needs to be boiled longer than the instructions recommend for it to get soft.
... and this pasta has met my hopes for a good pasta that doesn't get mushy

Trying very hard to stay gluten free and this pasta has met my hopes for a good pasta that doesn't get mushy. I couldn't really tell the difference in the taste between it and regular wheat flour pasta, so I am very pleased.
Taste and texture EXCELLENT !!

Seen a few comments about being mushy or don't even cook at all.. Don't know what to tell you other than for me these seemed to cook up like regular lasagna noodles for me. I boiled, pulled, and rinsed. They were definitely not mushy or any harder to work with than regular noodles. Made 2 pans when hosting Christmas and like other reviews nobody knew the difference and both pans devoured ! I think these are on the spendy side but most GF stuff is. I did have a few noodles in each box that got beat up but at least 3/4 in each box were fine.. My thought is "they are noodles, it's lasagna" and destined to be cut up any ways.. Little extra cheese and sauce here and there and the broken ones work. Maybe I'd be more upset if 3/4 were broke up and only 1/4 were complete. Busted noodles is all probably determined by how the delivery people handle.. Maybe putting "fragile" on the box would help keep it from getting thrown around with no consideration.. If you want your lasagna noodle texture and taste to match regular noodles, I don't know if you can get a better product than these. If these noodles were in the $25 range I would have given 5 stars. At the price I paid and the risk of getting a box of noodle crumbs from I give 4 stars.
