Fiinally, something that fits!

My 7 year old son is tall and athletic. He's considered to be exactly the right weight for his height, but for some reason, I couldn't find him a pair of regular slacks that fit without being 5 or more inches too long. Finally discovered these pants and ordered a 10 husky. They are the first pair I've found that were actually a bit big in the waist, but spot on in length. He almost never tucks in shirts, so the elastic waistband isn't a problem. After tacking the waist just a bit, these fit him perfectly and he says they're really comfortable. Will be ordering more in the future!
GREAT for active boy - wrinkle-free, releases stains easily

Really great uniform pants! We are half way through the school year, and the only signs of wear that these pants are showing is the faint crease near the bottom of the pant leg where I had to let the hem out last week. Pants come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. We've gotten on these pants mulch and dirt, spaghetti sauce, and just today sat on a large crumb from a moist chocolate muffin - and everything has come right out, even on the "Quick Wash" wash cycle. (I do treat all spots with Shout gel before putting into the washer.) The knees are still intact - no sign of any holes. The reinforcement fabric inside one pair of pants came off, and I plan to reapply it with Heat 'n Bond (iron-on bonding). No problems with the reinforcement patch on any of the other 3 pair of pants.

These pants come with a VERY generous hem, so even if your child has long legs and/or is tall for his/her age, you can likely let the hem out and they should fit. My child is average height for age with short legs, so I had to take out the hem, cut off a good bit of fabric, and re-hem. Not a problem to me - just offering my experience.

I will buy these again for next school year.
Superior!

These are exactly what I was looking for! My son is tall and thin. I always have to see in the waist of his pants and buy a size up because his legs are so long. That wasn't necessary with these pants. These fit his school uniform requirements. He hates wearing belts and if his pants have belt loops, he's required to wear a belt. These are everything he wanted.
Great Pants! Will Buy Again!

I have a rough and tumble autistic son who wore these for his school uniform. I needed something that he could handle himself in the bathroom since buttons and belts are difficult. These held up well all school year long and we will definitly be buying again. They did come a little long, but I hemmed them, and could let them down this year. Great pants for a great price! THANK YOU!!!
The things we've learned before we settled on these pants.

When Kindergarten began, we went all out and bought real khaki pants"”zipper and clasp included"”from Old Navy for our six-year-old, who's lanky, not considering the time it takes to iron the pants. A month or two later, despite the reinforced knee, they were torn to shreds. All five pairs! I've always wondered why school boys are often outfitted in shorts, and now I know why. But pants are just more comfy and these have completely fit the bill. Take them out of the dryer a little warm and smooth them out and they'll look perfectly pressed. They are a little baggy, but the durability and lightweight material make up for it.
