If your in need of a plastic box for a 50 Amp hook up, this is it. Having previously used another "brand name" plastic hookup box, this box is far superior construction and well worth the few dollars more. Even a seasoned generator installer was impressed with the quality of the box. Highly recommended.

Easy to install, lots of make up room..

We are using this with Conntek 1450SS2-15 15-Foot Temporary Power Cord, 50-Amp 125/250-Volt, NEMA 14-50P Generator Plug to CS6364 Locking Connector cable to connect directly to our house. Overall it does the job, however to run with code sufficient electric wiring (6/4 cable), the inside of this box is too tight. If there were a bit more room inside, it would get a 4 or 5 star review. The cable connects snuggly and did not come off during Hurricane Irma, and the wind we experienced took down numerous trees so it was not a breeze.
It mounted easily to the wall and the connection from the schedule 40 3/4" PVC.
Having said all of that, I would purchase this again and just know it is a tight fit.
