Why is the side of the spearhead not tapered?

The point is sharp however the side of the spearhead is not sharp. It is not what I expected.

these are great and for some reason I havnt had many rodents around my AO since I have got these, shoot straight for dart board fun too..

The ad says this is for a bag of 100. They sent me a bag of 10. 15 bucks for a bag of 10???? Don't think so. What a hassle. Now, I have to box them up, go to the UPS, and send them back. All 10 of them. Thanks to Amazon for the return policy.
