It almost cost me a transmission

I don't like giving 1 star, I know stuff happens but to many bad things happened to let it go. The radiator showed up quick and everything looked good, I compared it to my other one visually and it was pretty close so I thought, after spending a couple hours taking mine out I go to put the new one in and everything seems to be fitting OK until I go to put my fan on, well the fan didn't fit the new radiator it was skinnier than my old one so I had to cut my fan bracket in order for it to fit, at this time I'm still thinking that stuff happens maybe I didn't read the listing right who knows I wasn't going to give a bad review because of the fan not fitting. So I keep installing it and where the automatic transmission lines connect there's a brass fitting that was added, and as I'm tightening down my transmission lines I'm thinking to myself I hope those brass fittings are installed correctly. So I get it all together get anti-freeze in there and let my car warm up to make sure there was no leaks, my car warms up and everything is looking good. The next day was Sunday and I think to myself I better go take it for a drive make sure it's still doing good before I take it to work the next morning, I take it for a drive and everything seems to be working fine the temperature is staying low I'm happy at this point until I get home and see transmission fluid everywhere, I then take the battery out and see that it is leaking out of the brass fittings I take them apart and there is not gasket or Teflon tape on them. buy with caution.
