My canoe does not fit on the top rack.

It holds a couple kayaks on the boot feet and it's a solid rack, just not big enough for a canoe to fit on top. For me the whole point was to have compact storage for 2 kayaks and a canoe outdoors and if the top arms were wider it would have done the trick. I may get some pipes and secure them to the sides of the arms so it can hold the canoe. Too bad. It was almost a great product...

I am completely satisfied with this item. Very well made. Very sturdy. No improvement needed. Easily put together. Does anyone know if there is an 'add-on' package available? If so, where is it available and at what cost? How man more stackers per package????

The upper bars were hole punched incorrectly. We had to drill new holes to make it work. Very unsatisfying for the money spent. It's the end of the season or we would have requested a new one ... we waited since May for this one to arrive in early October.
Discrepancy between website listing and printed instructions, manufacturing defect

Issue #1: The Amazon description states "The G-505 can be used in all weather conditions for indoor and outdoor use" but the printed instructions state "This rack is intended for indoor use only."
Issue #2: The top 2 pieces that hold the 3rd kayak/canoe were manufactured incorrectly. The parts are welded together 90 degrees off.

Assembled quickly, and does the job: we've popped a canoe on top and two kayaks, which enables us to store these three boats in our shed without donating all of the space to them. We did get the casters for maneuverability.
