Was hesitant to order this for 2012 Ford F150 after reading a few reviews that said it wasn't a secure mount and that others had to wire it in place. Mine is very snug on it's own. Make sure you get the two snap in locating feature to click into your bumper and you won't be able to just grab it and wiggle it, much less jerk it out unless you are just giving it a huge pull that most people wouldn't attempt in the first place. At first, I only got one side to click in was "loose" filling until the I got to looking and noticed the locking feature of the plastic nib was not fully seated and locked into bumper.
