Looks really neat with the flame coming up in the tube, but it does not put off heat. The only heat is if you put your hands right at the grate as close as possible. The rest of your body will not feel the heat at all. It is a pretty decoration, but does not warm the air. It comes in a big, flat box and you have to assemble it completely.
