Decent covers, pay attention to sizes

Before I made this recent purchase on Amazon, I already owned 5 of these. Same brand, same dark chocolate color, same style, just purchased it from a different retailer. I like these couch covers. And yes, it is just like throwing a bed sheet or curtain on your couch. I own recliners and it's very difficult to find something affordable that fits properly. I gave 4 star's because 70 inches isn't long enough to cover the back of my couch. I also had to purchase 2 of each size. That's the only way to get my couch to look anything close to their display picture. I ordered the xtra large for my sofa, and for my love seat I bought the sofa size. Originally, I bought the regular chair size for my recliner and it didn't cover it well. This time around, I ordered the love seat size. I will combine the two to get a better fit.

Based upon the reviews, I bought two covers for my love seat and two for my couch. I covered the front of each first, and then overlapped the second piece on top to cover the top and back. There is plenty of extra fabric, especially on the sides, but the whole couch and love seat are covered. The quality of the fabric is good, and we washed them before use without a problem. Our love seat and couch both recline, and the covers stay mostly in place despite that. Some minor adjustment is sometimes needed.
The primary purpose of the covers for us was to protect our new furniture from our cats, and so far, they seem to be doing that. I am considering buying a second set so that one can be in use while the other is in the wash.

Kind of Small for Our Couch

We used this to avoid dog hair/smell on the couch. It was kind of small for our 3 section reclining couch, but still worked. We just had to adjust it a lot. We also washed several times and it began to have fuzzies and look a bit faded, but I kind of expected that. Otherwise, the color was nice and the pattern on it was pretty.

This is a very lovely throw, but I am very disappointed in how deceiving the photo is. The throw is very generously long but a 70 inch width would never cover a piece of furniture like in the photo. I have a pretty normal sized couch and the throw barely hangs over the back and over the front and that's with it barely tucked in. I should have measured what this would be like on my couch, but trusted that the photo showed a typical coverage. If this was another 10 inches wide or better yet 15 even at a greater cost I'd buy another one. The fabric is beautiful and I love the rich brown. I'm keeping it, but am disappointed.
