Not a true 3" roller. Shouldve listened to the reviews. The center only measure 2.75", and while a quarter inch doesnt sound like much it actually leaves the metal exposed and able to hit the boat. I have to do some modification to my trailer to get this to fit. Wouldn't buy again knowing this. Unless my trailer had a 2.75" gap.

I replaced my old rubber roller with the shoreline roller. Some reviews State it was to small and wouldn't work. It is a little bit smaller to allow it to move when used. I slightly bent the metal part on the trailer that holds it so it was a little tighter. Overall I am really happy with this product.
Not Really 3" Roller

This bow roller is pretty nice. The quality is just good. The center roller is hollow so not very strong. The size of the center roller is supposed to be 3". It is not. It is only 2 5/8". This leaves to big of a gap with a three inch roller mount and does not hold securely. I suppose it could let the boat hit the metal part of the bracket in the right conditions.

Quality product. Perfect fit for my boat trailer. No more black scuffs on the bow. I see a lot of reviews where people seem to be confused about the fit and size of this setup. The center roller of this item is 3" wide so make sure you measure only the center portion of your existing three piece roller before ordering. The left and right outer roller extensions are not factored into the size and are inconsequential. As long as the center part your existing roller is 3" wide you will be fine with this product. Also, do not overtighten the bolt or the center won't roll like it's supposed to. I highly recommend this product.

The highest Quality, however the center that was to be 3inches, was only 2 5/8". I made up the extra space with rubber washers.
