Exactly as advertised. Sometimes the key can slip out ...

Exactly as advertised. Sometimes the key can slip out slightly as you are turning it to unlock but jist make sure the key is fully inserted to open or close. No other issues noted at this time.
trailer lock

Nothing fancy, but does the job. Seems to be made pretty well, but I would recommend lubing the key slot before use.
Keep in mind there's no actual lock mechanism, inserting the key simply allows you to unscrew the lock. There's an O-ring to keep water and moisture out, which I thought was a nice touch on a $7 lock.

Nice heavy product

Nice heavy product. It's not just lock and unlock. The key unscrews and separates the unit, so it's screw off and screw on.
Like the design, but the key mechanism is not very safe

This works okay, and I love that the pin is not exposed. HOWEVER, one time I accidentally inserted the wrong key (the only other yellow key I have in my bunch, which is from my mail box) and it still worked!!! It's true that it worked a bit rough, and initially I thought it was due for some grease, but NO, I was using the wrong key and still worked. This worries me a bit and I wonder if it happened to anyone else, but let's face it: this is a little deterrent for more honest people :)
Better than expected

I use it to lock a boat trailer tongue coupler when not in use and to lock it to my vehicle. I ordered a second to lock a chain around the wheels and trailer. Both get wet from the rain or lake so I like the rubber seal which protects the internal components from dust/water. It screws down so it can be locked at various lengths. Very sturdy.
