I haven't used these yet but I just opened the package to inspect the muffs and they look great. I know other reviewers complained about the rubber not lasting long, but at this price I could replace them twice a year and still come out ahead. Plus, never store them wet... make sure they're thoroughly dry and coat them with a little bit of mineral oil and thew rubber should last a long, long time.
UPDATE: I just used them for the first time and they performed above my expectations. Some have complained about other types/brands of muffs slipping off while the engine was running, but these felt like they were firmly stuck in place. In fact, they were a little hard to get off, which I took as a good thing.

Used to winterize my 115hp Yamaha, 2 stroke.
Fit firmly on the intakes and provided enough water to properly flush the engine.
Found at a much better price than my local big box marine store-even when they had a similar model on sale.
Happy with the quality.

This product worked great on my MerCruiser stern drive. I used it to demonstrate the motor to a prospective buyer when selling my boat while it was in my driveway (he bought the boat!). It was a little difficult to rotate the "ears," though I was finally able to. I know it will come in handy for my outboard.
I also got a nice shower when I connected the flusher and turned water ...

These didn't work for me at all. They seem to fit and cover my intake ports, but my 25 hp Honda outboard didn't have any flow out of the discharge when I installed this flusher. I also got a nice shower when I connected the flusher and turned water on. The water just sprayed out from the edges of the flusher and I ended up getting a barrel and filling it with water instead of using this flusher. I would not recommend this for winterizing or flushing your outboard. But they did ship it fast, and it wasn't very expensive. I got what I paid for...
I'm sure its a good product otherwise but I could not return it because ...

The piece that screws onto the hose cracked the first time I used it. It was not overtightened but split with little pressure. I'm sure its a good product otherwise but I could not return it because the time to return had past.
