I would recommend with Dogs with Glaucoma
DG✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 25, 2023
My dog has glaucoma and she has lost one eye to it and the other is in the process of going blind. I have had my dog on prescription eye drops and she was worse on them not to mention the side effects. First let me say that my dog took this product aprox 6 months. I do strongly feel that this has helped her keep her pressures down with the glaucoma and has helped her keep her eye sight much longer than if not on this product. She can see better as soon as I put the drops in her eyes and within hours it continues to help. After 6 months I think my dog has become sick on this eye drop. When I give it to her she has much less energy and sleeps, she looks like she feels bad, then when I stop for several days her energy returns. I did this a few times to make sure it was the eye drops and I feel about 95% certain it is the eye drops. My dog is sensitive to meds as well. I don't think they have tested this product long enough on animals. I have since quit giving it to her and would rather her go blind then feel bad, but I feel it is an alternative to the other prescription meds that have dangerous side effects.
Works. Easy to puncture.

It is easy to puncture if after you twist to open and remove the blue plastic ring, you recap very tight. This will puncture an opening. You might hear a suction of air to let you know it's opened a hole. I bought this for my 70 year old husband who is showing signs of cataracts. I remembered about these drops because I used them about 10 years ago for my own cataracts and know that they worked for me. There are two kinds of cataracts, one is slow onset and one is rapid onset. This is not a long-term solution for the rapid onset, so even though it was indeed working for me I still had to have lens replaced. The could buy you time. My cataracts were rapid onset, could notice it getting worse every morning. But the drops began improving my vision almost immediately. The drops will work a lot better for those with slow onset cataracts.
Great eye drops

I have used these eye drops before, but switched because my eye doctor suggested I use another brand. I did not like that brand and came back to Can-C. The only drawback to using the Can-C is the bottle. You either can't get it out, or you get too much at one time. I wish they could fix that problem.
My eye doctor didn't need to see me for 2 years.

Liked the ease of use.
My eye doctor said I didn't need to see him for 2 years.
DEFINITELY IMPROVED MY VISION RIGHT AWAY - IF THE CATARACTS GO AWAY TOO, I WILL BE THRILLED!

I was VERY skeptical about this product, even though I'd read several scientific studies from Russia and China that show its effectiveness. I was shocked to find that my vision improved after the very first application. I would suspect a placebo effect except that I watch TV from the same chair all the time and I was reading onscreen numbers and text that I know I could not read before. Clearly, one application is not enough to banish cataracts but I suspect the product might also increase the production of tear film -- in my case, more so than my Rx eye drops have in 4 years of daily use! The studies imply that the active ingredient in CAN-C is beneficial for the various tissues of the eye in general and I have to say I am experiencing that already. I find myself doing things that I normally would grab for my eyeglasses for -- without even thinking of them. If this actually abolishes my cataracts it will be a bonafide miracle drug -- but I would even settle for any degree of reduction. UPDATE: At about the year and 4 months point my night vision has unquestionably and dramatically improved. I still pick up a lot of glare from headlights however so I'm not certain what changes account for the improvement. I plan to keep using the eyedrops until I find no benefit, even if it takes a few years.
