Really nice, well made tray. I bought it to use as a plate for camping but it is a bit too heavy feeling for that. Consequently it is nice enough looking to use in your kitchen and it is durable enough to do the work of tray wherever you need it!

If you are going to use these for food: DON"T BUY THEM! If you are going to use them as palettes: DON"T BUY THEM! I should have read the reviews before purchase, but I did not. True to other reviewers these trays are of very poor quality: the only similarity to the picture is the color! (looks like a drunk first grader painted them) The two I ordered had pitting on the bottoms and rims and chipping all over. The inside of the trays were okay with nothing more than splattered blue paint. I bought a large Butcher Tray from Hobby Lobby for about $15 and it has been excellent and I had no reason to believe these would be any different, especially when looking at the picture. I would NOT consider these second or third quality, maybe fourth quality or even very close to trash!

I purchased this in May and did need it until today. I took off the package label and concealed underneath was a patch of missing, cracked enamel. It is very rough and if touched more enamel flakes off. The item is unusable. Clearly I should have examined it on receipt but had no expectation that it was damaged or of such poor quality.

This is a great size to hold a package of hamburger meat or steak while it thaws, or fresh meat before it's cooked. The lip on the tray catches any liquid that seeps out of the packages and keeps the shelves clean.
It's lightweight but strong.
Finish isn't perfect, but not too objectionable and doesn't affect the function of the tray.
