I purchased this to replace one just like it that was bought in 2012. Unfortunately, that one burned up. Absolutely the best vacuum I have ever used. I have been a professional house cleaner for nearly 20 years. This vacuum outperforms Orek, Riccor, Kirby, Dyson, Shark, Eureka, Kenmore, Bissell, Dirt Devil, and other Hoover models.

I imagine all these vacuums are a compromise of designs. I bought this one because it has a 13" cleaning path, to replace my old Panasonic. If I'd been able to find another 13" Panasonic, I would have preferred that. This one is serviceable, but it's extremely noisy and you will want to get some earplugs to go with it. The attachment hose is adequately long but so stiff that you will get a good upper body workout, if you don't tip the whole thing over. (This is the same design as all the Hoover Windtunnels, of which this one.) This model has a very long, and very heavy duty, cord, which is an overall advantage in my view. I found it difficult to assemble because the holes for the bolts which hold the handle to the body were not drilled out very well. It came with a number of the size Y bags it uses and a belt, a nice touch.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I have three dogs and two cats and children. This Commercial Vacuum has been excellent. I used to have bagless but hated that I always felt dirty still...now it all stays in the bag...throw bag away and get a new one every week!!

I've had an excellent $400 Kenmore bagged canister vac for 10 years until I finally got tired of dragging two pieces around- a big canister behind the powered vac head. Vacuums like this- with a real bag, serious suction with a serious motor are far superior to ANY of the new "bagless" vacs. After a lot of research, I got this one an it's excellent for my needs. It provides excellent suction, a range of hight adjustment for the beater bar and very good tools. This isn't your Grandmother's Vac- The Hoover engineers didn't waste your money here on a "cord rewind" system or a fragile "push- pull" assist motor. It's a black- slightly heaver- commercial model with a thick orange cord you have to wind up yourself. The performance is excellent and the vacuuming movement is really light and easy. (Mine was shipped with an extra 10 Hoover standard bags and a replacement beater bar belt which I didn't expect)! I recommend the HEPA Y filters.

Wow! The suction is so incredible. For this to be a Commercial type I always had use for something like this. My apartment is not as dirty I keep it clean 24/7. This is my 3rd vacuum cleaner. My first one was Bissell Wide Path which brought before I move into my first apartment.I brought another bissell 6 years later. But this one is the best of the best.
