I'm a week-end bread baker. (Helps relieve job stress.) I use an 8-1/2" x 4-1/2" bread pan (Wilton Recipe Right Medium Loaf Pan). Even with high rising loaves, the bread goes right in and there is room to tie them off. Sure, the plastic is thinner than that used in store-bought loaves, but they work fine for me since they go direct from counter-top to freezer. I just wish the twist ties were included.

These bags are amazing! They fit my homemade bread from a regular home loaf pan perfectly with a bit of room left over. The thickness doesn't allow the bread to get stale. The quality is perfect -- no messed up bags. They are neatly in the box and dispense one bag at a time. When I run out, I will be ordering more of these from this seller.

I make all my own bread and have been totally frustrated by the so-called "bread bags" I have found in the grocery stores. I've tried every brand and NONE of them would fit my loaves of bread. I had never (well, until recently) thought of trying to see if I could find something on Amazon! I figured I'd give these a try and, boy, am I glad I did. They work PERFECTLY! Given the number of them in a box, I was afraid I'd have trouble finding a place to store them, but they come in a box that's only 6" x 7" x 9". The bags are not loose, but folded so that you can grab as many or few as you want. At the rate of about 8-10 loaves a month, these will last me, literally, years :-O. I found others that had only 100 in a box, but they were the same price as these! I am very pleased with the cost for these, the quality is good, and I would definitely recommend them.
