I'm fairly young with serious physical issues and this mat, unlike a thin yoga mat, is a great investment. Shipping is free with Amazon prime, a great deal. Normally it's very expensive to ship. Thanks to this mat, I'm exercising again.

Two issues with this. 1) It's very dense so there is very little compression compared to our other panel mats. Feels very hard - no cushion. 2) The smell is strong. I read one review that said that before I purchased. Would not want this in the main house - you can smell it as soon as you walk into our basement rec room. We have other mats just like this (but cost more) that do not smell at all and have more cushion.
