Didn't even know there were different kinds of pipe thread tape out there, but needed one for our propane connection and this works very well. Certain products are for certain applications and this is the one for gas pipes, so happy I found it.

This tape is a lot better than the cheap white tape you can get for air/water. I used it for a propane splitter on my camper, and have not had a single leak ( yet ) The tape is a lot thicker feeling than a lot of the others I have used. Works great for what I needed, and at a good price, can't beat the free prime shipping as well.

Used on LP gas valve replacement. Handled well; adhered well. No leaks and holding up to the elements after a few months in diverse hot/cold/muggy/dry temps. Would buy again.

Never had a problem or a leak.
Worth the money.
