Oh my gosh I hope it isn't just a coincidence but as soon as I showed him this pad holder he peed on the pad!!! I have been trying to get him to use the pads this whole time and he 99% of the time did not use the pad. I think the 1% he did use it was just luck. But now I put the pad on the holder and it was the first thing he did!! pads are 21x21 and I folded the edges and they fit perfect. I took a photo with my hand next to it for size cocompares I ordered the SMALL size. My puppy is a purebred pom almost 4 months and its perfect. It will probably be good size fully grown as well. I have included a photo of my dog next to it as well.

Update: 4 pees later and all have been on the pad on the holder!!! I say this was a GREAT BUY.

Product is cheaply made. It doesn't hold the wee wee pad tight enough and my dog always pulls the pad out of holder. Product should be made to lock the pad in tighter. You are also forced to buy their pads which of course is a marketing scheme but come on.

I ordered the IRIS Training Pad Holder about 3 months ago for a new puppy we were bringing into our home. I researched puppy pad and other products to help keep my house clean and loved the looks of this holder. It arrived and was actually nicer in person than I thought it would be. It is constructed of a very nice and strong plastic type material. This is very easy to use and keeps the puppy pad secure. Simply slide the two blue pieces on each side out and the cover comes off. Put the puppy pad in place, put the top of the holder over it and slide the two blue pieces inward and it will now be secure. This holder is wonderful as it keeps the puppy from taking the pad and running around with it. It also keeps the floor more sanitary and clean in the event the urine leaks through. This is one of better products I have seen on the markets. Everything I see from this is a pro and no cons that I can think of. This is a great quality product that is durable and will last even with a playful puppy.

I have a small MinPin. Before I purchased this IRIS Pad Holders, although he tried to use the puppy pad he often missed which was a huge mess. Not only was it a mess when he missed the holder but also a mess when he actually used the puppy pad as well! Because the puppy pad sat directly on the floor, urine would often seep through and get on the floor. This puppy pad holders are really a great investment and very easy to use. The holder comes with two clips on either side you just undo those clips, place your puppy pad on the bottom part, then reattach the top part using the clips.

Pros
These holders are a large size. (25.5 x 18.9 x 1.75 H inches)
I love that these are raised up off the floor so urine doesn't get on the floor.
The clasp hold the puppy pad firmly.
They are very easy to clean. I simply wipe them down with wipes.

Cons/Improvements
A huge improvement would be if the sides were raised just a little taller.

I've read some of the reviews that have not had great things to say about this holder. It seems to me that some of those problems are with low quality puppy pads instead of the holder itself. I've never had an issue with my dog getting the puppy pad out. You just have to line it up and lock it securely. These worked so well for me I actually purchased two. I've found that my puppy has so much fewer accidents now that he actually has these puppy pad holders versus just a puppy pad on the floor. I would definitely recommend these.

Pros:

Very light weight.

Easy to remove and replace puppy pads.

Because the product is hard plastic. Its vey easy to clean in case your K9 misses the pad a little bit. I usually just use a disinfectant wipe.

Very slim. If you have company over and decide you want to put the pad holder away it can fit just about anywhere.

Cons:

One thing that confused me was securing the pad into place. On my holder one side clicked into place and the other didn't. However the pad was secure.

The first time my puppy used a pad on the holder he pulled the pad out a bit. I had a roll of foam kitchen cabinet liner, I just cut it the foam to fit and it's now very secure.

Value for money?
The product isn't perfect. It could be better. However, I think its completely worth the money due to fact that it's easy to clean and lightweight. I would purchase this product again.
