Perfect for retrofit!

Worked great as a retrofit for our trailer which did not have an existing outdoor shower. Just cut a hole the appropriate size, built a wooden frame for the screws the "grab onto," and used putty tape on the exterior mounting surface. I was able to fit mine under the bathroom sink, so my water connections were right there. Sharkbite fittings worked fine but I underestimated how rigid that PEX tubing is. Plan accordingly.

Worked out good on our black trimmed RV. We mounted it close to the entry door so as to be able to wash our feet off if needed or take a quick rinse off shower under the porch light at night. None of the adapters included with this faucet were of any help to me. Since I tapped into the kitchen PEX pipes, I had to cut both the hot and cold lines and then install a "T" fitting. I had to purchase these two T fittings and also purchase the small crimp rings. I luckily already had a tool I could use to squeeze the crimp rings on. Looks good and functions perfectly.

The faucet assembly arrived on time and was as-described. Installation was extremely easy as I was replacing a like faucet assembly and the hole was already cut to size. 20 minute install. My only complaint is that the wand assembly drips at the shower head itself - the sliding valve assembly leaks by. Only an issue when the main valves are open, but annoying nonetheless. I would purchase this unit again.

I was able to swap the lock on this one for the one that was on the old shower (which was keyed alike to my door). It went in fine, but the water basically dribbles out weather I am using house water pressure or the pump. The old one was broken so I am happy to have one replaced, but after trying to use it at the beach I gave up. Will probably just sit there

I have not yet installed the outdoor shower assembly. After taking it out of the box, i found it to be of high quality, and appears that it will go the distance. I chose this unit because it does not have the opening in the top for the hose to slide into; you simply wind the hose around the faucet before you close the lid. Some like the disappearing hose trick. I would rather have the unit sealed to avoid an air leak and/or insect egress. Your call, but if you want a sealed unit, this one's pretty sweet.
