So happy to find these straws! They are perfect for my tall glasses. I like that they are strong and don't break when removing them from the paper wrapping. Keeping a few in my car is a must when receiving those whimpy straws at the drive through. The price it just right, too.

This straw uses the exact same type of plastic material found in Starbucks Venti straws and some C-store type 10"+ straws. It has the same thickness, diameter, strength, and bend-resistance. Red is not my first color choice but seems to be the most readily and regularly available. Sometimes I feel a little guilty that these things had to travel on a container ship all the way from China just so I could suck on my iced tea. I'm not sure I have the lifespan remaining to use up 1200 of these straws, but I do have them. Maybe I can pass some out in my will, or be buried with some of them. This straw (or anything similar) is generally not available at retail for consumers. Overall this straw is a big time winner! Suck on 'em if you've got 'em!

My husband has a tendency to pilfer extra 7-11 straws when he's there, because he likes that they are long and thick-walled. I got tired of his petty theft, and bought these to have on hand.. They are almost identical; same thickness, but about 1/4 inch longer.
