Have purchased a nearly identical product (capacity, shape, closure mechanism) and have been very satisfied. Significant problem with the 12 oz secure seal containers from this manufacturer: the lower half of the container part AND the bottoms of approximately every 3rd to 4th container is dramatically thinner, squishy, cellophane-y and fragile feeling. Can't use the super thin-bottomed.sides containers with any confidence to package food. Just not the quality needed. It almost seems that there must have been a problem on the molding manufacturing line. Will share the containers with staff who want to grow seedlings for their gardens. Cannot use these for food. While it's ethical to share this info it's still very uncomfortable to submit a poor review.

I got tired of washing lunch boxes for my kids so I bought these in stead. I use them for kids lunches and i tell them to discard them when done. It closes well and I haven't had any spills or leaks complaints from them.
