Cracked and broke during minor use. Garage.

The pin cracked the button to activate the laser in less than 300 dry fires. On a very nice match grade gun. No longer works. 100 dollars wasted. In general don't buy cheap chinese parts from amazon for firearms...they've all turned out to be crap. What can you expect from a company that sells counterfit items by the thosuands evwry day. Amazon LLC sells it so there isn't a "contact seller" option but I'll let you know its totally worthless.

Great training option. Amazing tool for perfecting point and shoot. Saves considerably on Ammo and range time.
Had to return my because it wasn't sitting correctly at times but will order again. Really affective at home training just to get the mechanics of aim corrected. Although nothing going to replicate muzzle control like live rounds.

I use this trainer cartridge with a CZ97B. First time using it the fit was very snug requiring me to push the slide home to get the item to seat in the chamber. Once seated though it worked just fine; the laser is easy to see on the wall in front of you. Use something soft like the eraser end of a pencil to push it out of the chamber so as not to damage the laser lens. Again, it was a bit snug coming out but that's fine as I think you want a tight fit. Note that dry firing will improve your shooting - this trainer helps by providing feedback on whether or not you jerk the trigger. If you do then the laser dot will move when the trigger is pulled. You want to see a steady red dot that stays still - practice that and your groups will tighten up at the range.
Laserlyte failed on the .45, but their other calibers are good.

It didn't fit in either of my .45s! After a lot of lubricating and jamming it in the barrel it did end up fitting very tightly. I have a 9mm and .40, neither of which had this problem.
The laser on this unit also is off, it doesn't shoot where the sights are lined up like the other calibers do.
Still worth it if you have a the target as this is a great training tool.

I am a new shooter and the Laserlyte system is very helpful for practice. The cartridge fits in your pistol and give you some of the feel of using your sights correctly. Obviously you don't experience recoil, but developing getting your sight picture quickly and feedback on your hit is very useful.
