It works extremely well and if ever I need another one I will surely get this one

Bought this for a multi region Blu-Ray player i got for my birthday that came from Australia, with United States voltage requirements. Unfortunately the power cord was the Australian "V" shape.
It worked perfectly!

Good quality adapter which does the job. My only improvement would be to make it shorter. It does protrude out rather far from the wall socket, making it easier to bump. Plus, more weighty cables inserted may cause it to retract from the wall slightly

I've used a few Australian/Universal adapters. For plugging in a single Australian corded item, so far, this one is my favorite.

Unlike most universal adapters I've tried, this adapter provides a snug, secure feeling fit both in the outlet and the product being plugged into it.
As pointed out by other reviewers, the snug fit on the input side could be a con, if the item you are plugging into it has a larger than standard plug. But for my purposes, I found the fit to be perfect. It is a little on the snug side, but once the cord was fully seated into the adapter, I immediately appreciated how the 'ring' keeps the plug from being accidentally dislodged.

Additionally, I appreciate that the adapter doesn't 'feel' cheap. Most adapters I've used up to this point have been little boxes and they feel like a couple of cheap bits of plastic and metal held together by a bit of glue (and maybe one tiny screw somewhere). I've had mixed results with these kinds of adapters. They often don't keep a tight fit either to the outlet itself and/or the plug connected to it. I've also lost several to wear and tear related to the general use and movement involved in a frequently moved item like a laptop cord.

Aesthetically, the adapter has a fairly low profile (doesn't add a lot of "bulk" of it's own) and the black matches the product that it is being used for.

With it's sturdy design, it's tight fit, and low profile look this adapter has become a permanent extension to my Australian laptop cord (at half the price of replacing the original cord with even an 'aftermarket' US compatible cord). It doesn't have to be removed and handled separately every time I move or unplug my laptop. Instead my laptop cord is just a couple or inches longer now.

And, because of the raised design of the adapter, it doesn't interfere as much with the functionality of other outlets on narrower american power strips (boards) as either the large round design of Australian plugs or the "boxy" design of other adapters.

I've used this adapter daily for five months at the time of this review.

You have to buy an adapter for your forgetful father when he forgets his electric shaver adapter. It worked great and we could take him back in public again.

The product was made of a sturdy plastic as found on most plugs and aligned perfectly with both the shaver and the wall outlet.
