if set properly the sun part will spin
No spin to win!

Does not spin! The metal is too heavy for it to spin. Still a pretty yard ornament, but not a spinner!
Lovely garden art!

We love this piece, using it in the front garden. It's well made, sturdy and very pretty. Unfortunately, the angle at which the spinner is set does not allow it to turn freely (even tried lubricating it) without a very forceful wind. Also, a nearby streetlight is probably the reason the center globe does not illuminate at night. We could relocate the Illuminarie, but really like its daytime look where it is.
Pretty but that's about it....

Have to agree with most other reviews. This does not spin even in decent winds, I even took it apart and oiled it...nothing! The outer marbles illuminate more than the ball and that isn't saying much because those are pretty dull. I did get it to spin but only by holding a blower and aiming right at it. Those that say theirs spin are just lucky I guess.
very pretty wind spinner

very pretty wind spinner, but it does not spin in the breeze and the illuminated globe never glows. we have tried moving it around the yard but it doesn't help...meanwhile the wind spinner beside it spins.
