As other revierws have said, these cups are definitely more cream in person than in the picture. It was a little disappointing because I bought another set of sups that were very white, so they clashed. Despite that, this set is very pretty and well made. It came well packed and protected. I can see myself using this set often when entertaining a small group.

I bought this tea set for my (adult) daughter as a gift. I wish you could have seen how her face lit up with delight when she opened the package! She loved the pattern and was so happy to receive this! This is the second tea set that I've ordered from this company as I gifted my grand-daughter with a different pattern, and both tea sets were packed safely and arrived without damage and were even more beautiful than pictured! I have a few Gracie China sets, and I really like them all. This was perfect for a little friend who had a birthday. Most of the sets made for children actually have warnings on them that you should not actually use them for drinking. I like that this set always has replacement cups on amazon and that it can easily be mixed and matched with other Gracie China sets for an eclectic table. This set is a great size and doesn't easily spill the tea out when you drink, like some styles that curve the lip of the cup outward.
