USE GLUE and watch how the screws go into the panels

Well, yes, I did have one panel that did become a major problem. But rather than call, I fixed it myself--thank you woodwork shop from high school. In addition, I used Gorilla Clear Grip Glue at every point, screw to hold this together. Again woodwork shop from high school--sometimes--glue must be used. It does not shake, move, etc. Oh ya, I put it together by myself--did not need any help in lifting it up and used another product I got from Amazon--"sliders" to move the Armoire to it position--where it sits now and I am typing this to you know. Holds my 20 inch monitor and my laptop is on the side-shelve and one of my Nook Samsung tablets is also happily sitting. on the top shelve is my second laptop. My printer was too large to fit in the Armoire, so it sits on the top with a lamp and clock. the bottom is filled with my computer/Adobe/Photoshop manuals, paper, and other books and stuff. There is a problem with the "closing magnets" and the doors--but that I solved with a key ring that I use to keep the doors closed. It is about 1/4 the size of my 5 shelve bookcases and it sits in between them--but does stick out 1/4 on the sides--which is not a problem for me. For what I paid--I got a good
deal. Warning--do NOT use electric anything putting these together, watch how the screw is going into to panel--stop and adjust (push to the opposite side GENTLY). I Used glue in the all the screw holes to ensure they did not slip or move. Little armoire is pretty darn sturdy little item---!
Some dents, dings, scratches but overall perfect for my needs
LINDA✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 17, 2017
Received package banged up, pieces with some dents, dings, and scratches. Took me about 5 hours to assemble & I assembled it by myself (33 year old female). It says not to use power tools but there are so many screws that my hand started hurting with all the manual screwdriver tightening so I ended up finishing with a drill toward the end. It is important to follow the instructions because some pieces go on before the other ones can go on... I messed up a couple of times and needed to take screws out to make corrections then screw back together. Still went back together tightly. Don't rush, follow step by step. 2 of the screws took very similar but they're different so it was important to sort all the screws in their own piles to not confuse them later. The finished product feels sturdy and good quality. I was thinking of calling to complain about the dings/scratches but they seem to all be on the inside because I am not noticing any of them now that I'm looking at the finished cabinet. I would recommend 2 other points...1) hammer in the nails through backboard on an inward angle and make sure to be in the middle of the board it's nailing into bc I was on the edge with a couple and the other board split bc I was too close to the edge.... 2) wait until you know how you want to have your contents/machines inside the cabinet before you punch out the holes for cords in the back.. there are two large square perforated punchouts and a couple smaller circle ones... I punched them out beforehand but I wish I hadn't because I didn't need them that big and in those exact spots. overall, this armoire was perfect for me because I needed to move my 16" work-from-home monitor computer, work phone, Thin Client base, Sonic Wall, our internet modem & router, keyboard and mouse all to one compact location in the living room so I can work and be next to my busy toddler every day all day. Everything fits perfectly with extra space for my personal things. The doors are a bit off, even after trying to adjust them, they don't connect with the magnet well to close tightly, and the swing open loosely but I like that they open all the way back so the unit can be completely open with the doors out of the way when using the computer inside. I can shut it and in just that moment my office is contained and the living room is nice and neat without the messy/unsightly office equipment all out in the open. I would recommend this for a variety of purposes but especially to working moms with young children like me.
It all fits together... I promise!

I read the reviews before purchasing and was scared. I got it anyway bc it was exactly what I wanted for a decent price. I was determined to make it work! It took a lonnnnng time to put together. Mostly bc I couldn't do certain parts of it alone. I went into the build with a preconceived notion, bc of the negative reviews, that the pieces weren't going to fit. So, when it seemed like they didn't I was mad but, like I said before, determined to make it work for my family and I. Turns out it does fit. Very well. Very tightly and quite sturdy. You just have to trust that its not going to break if you push it hard enough to put it in connecting holes and what not. Easy instructions. Looks great! Difficult for one person to assemble. Is shorter than most people would desire but functional enough. Perfect for an apartment. It was damaged in a few spots which was upsetting but by the time i realized it i was already building... so... oh well... I also got the file cabinet and had the bookshelf. The colors matches exactly. :) the photos are of the finished product, the finished product next to a 6 foot tall man and some of the damages.
Sturdy unit! First off

Sturdy unit!
First off, it doesn't have to do with the product itself, but the "guaranteed" delivery by Amazon wasn't so guaranteed. I waited all day for this to be delivered and had time set aside to assemble it....showed up 3 days later.

Anyway..packaging is HEAVY. 2 people would do so much better. I was by myself so I drug the box inside and unpacked half of it. Drug the remaining half in the box upstairs, then carried up individual pcs I unloaded originally.

Instructions are very clear and very easy to follow. All pcs are marked. All of the hardware is in 1 bag, I emptied it out into a larger plastic container to find parts needed.

Pieces went together smoothly and there is ample room for computer. I really like that there are knockouts in the back for each compartment.

I got the cinnamon cherry color. It's more brown with a touch of burgundy.
Lowest Quality Pressboard and Plastic Parts...be warned!

One star is not low enough to show how much garbage this furniture is. Sauder says they are American made but Ikea (made in China) comes with instructions and doesn't snap apart while you're assembling it. Please do not buy from this company. Please take a moment to look at the photos and see just how poorly constructed it is.
