I ended up using this as a designer finish to the top of a wine rack. I intended to use it on the side of a cabinet, but went with a more distinguished tile instead, this was a little fake looking. I liked the hammer effect but the entire piece as it was cut showed a striped effect I found unappealing. I liked it as a light reflecting texture though on an otherwise plain wood wine rack. I added faux grapes on top of it for a bit of a designer touch that brightened up the look.
