This thing is my favorite. It takes up so little room, it stays perfectly flat, it adjusts to fit a small cast-iron pan or a sheet pan. I know it will protect my surfaces. The only downside? When I first got it, I kept forgetting I had it because it practically disappeared inside the drawer! Thinking of getting some for hostess gifts-- it won't blow anyone away when they open it, but it is something almost anyone will grow to love-- especially if they have space limitations, but even if they dont.

This fits in my very narrow drawer next to the range....and then expands to whatever size I need! It protects the counter from hot pans just as it is supposed to. A solid purchase, everyone should have at least one of these.

Love that these fold up and fit in a drawer so nicely. I have 4 of these and I use them all the time. They are non-skid so whatever pan you put on it won't slide off, and they clean up so easily. Definitely would recommend this trivet!
