OH MY!!
Jennifer C.•August 28, 2017
Well hello my fellow amazon addicts!
I am not a review writer... a sentence stumbled upon quite frequently... however true and tried to contain my gripes and move along... but I'm hoping if I alert company... maybe change will follow... it's such a minor irritant that life will carry on... and no harm done..
However when buying a product.:: you hope to enjoy it... and I was unable to... due to the fact there wasn't a whole cracker in entire box!!!
I recently stumbled upon these decadent the lights at a gourmet grocery down the block of course I bought them out in no time flat and continue to try to purchase them there with no success fast forward to my good friend Amazon click point and in no time flat I had these boxes sitting in front of me !!!
With much excitement feeling all British when I eat them and brewing the perfect cup of coffee to go along with I excitedly and carefully open the package to find ( to my dismay ) CRUMBS!!! Not one cracker! If I wasn't feeling guilty already for spending so much on a simple delight my belly urged to splurge and sadly well you can see where I'm headed!
Only hope the trip is easier on yours... and story ending is a happier one!
Best wishes to all... thank you for your time!
PS... below attached another disaster delight discover... same deal with digestives and hobnobs!!!

More like a cookie.

More like a cookie. Sugar is the second ingredient. i would rate higher if it was raw sugar, turbinado, etc., but would need more stars since I rate these as five stars. I did get one batch the seemed a bit underbaked, noticeably lighter in color than typical. I do sometimes eat with cheese, but mostly just eat with black coffee. Guess these may be named due to our Brit brother and sister's broader use of the word cracker?

They used to be thicker and bigger and less dry and crumbly. They fall apart real easily now. And the tube of cookies/crackers inside the box is only about 2/3 to 3/4 as long as the actual box. So you're not getting as many as you think you are by looking at the box. But they taste the same as they did years ago,...which I always loved. And they provide lots of fiber. They are a tasty, slightly nutty and gently sweet way to incorporate lots of fiber into a diet.
Delicious and unlike any other...

These crackers are delicious, sort of a hybrid cracker/cookie that has a very unique texture and a whole wheat + graham cracker taste. They are slightly sweet, with an addictive crumbly, sandy texture that reminds me of shortbread, not crackers. A wonderful alternative to cookies, they are addictive all by themselves. I wouldn't pair them with salty or hard cheeses, just soft or cream cheese and fruit or fruit jelly. Their taste and texture are very different from any other cracker or cookie I have ever tried, and if Carr's stops making them, I am sure there will be picketing at their factory, lol!
