Decent

Fits standard plates you'd find in the gym so don't worry about all the complaining and moaning going on here about the rod not fitting. However, the Strap does begin to break after repeated use if it is not in a good position. The vest has loops on the front and back so so long as you watch the ripping of the harness's belt, you should be good to go.
Just install the pole, everything else is already assembled!

Really happy with this so far. All I had to do was screw in the pole. I might secure the pole underneath with a large wing nut, but that might be overkill. I may replace the straps with a chain or something a bit sturdier down the road.
I've read that only olympic size weights fit, so I'll try that and will update my review.

It’s sturdy enough

For its price it's a pretty decent sled. I tried holding more weight on it and it really seems strong and portable enough for me. I got it because of portability mainly and I love it. Maybe in the future they can make thicker and heavier sleds.
If you are just beginner this a good starting sled

I am not a novice lifter, however, I'm no pro either. My daughter and I use this sled for backwards sled pulls. We use it 5-6X per week pulling 5 mins each time. This sled will work and meet your needs especially if you are just starting out. Once you have been doing it for awhile you realize that you might want something else. We joined a gym and they have another sled we use. It is more sturdy and has held up way better than this sled. The center pole on this sled has paint coming off and starting to rust. We sled with 2-45 lb plates and 3-10lb weights. Sliding the weight on/off has taken its toll on the center post. We have used it this way for about 5 months. Will it hold up...probably for a year...will update. We do not use the vest at all. it is too big for my daughter and I prefer to use a belt they have at the gym. The strap and clips are great. We will be training hard over the upcoming summer. Not sure of what sled I would upgrade to because the name on the sled in gym has been worn off. If I find it I will add to this post. I don't regret buying this but now that I know what I know, for us, would probably buy a different one.
