Growing well -- good erosion control.

We threw this out on bare spots at our farm and it is growing very well in the areas we have irrigation. We are hoping for rain so that the rest of the seed stands a chance of growing. We started planting this clover in our lawn a couple of years ago, and it has done a wonderful job of erosion control on a steep slope while also providing nectar for our bees. Clover adds nitrogen to the soil, so it provides missing nutrients to the grass which minimizes the amount of fertilizer we have to spread. As it's a cool weather plant, we also have patches of green when the grass is dormant in winter. While it does go dormant when the weather hits 100 degrees, it comes back as soon as temperatures drop.
Growing Great For Me

UPDATE: This is my third order of clover from this seller. It is growing wonderful; I just needed more for a larger area; and I put in a water line and had to dig up an area and am reseeding it.

I did a little "digging" lol! And, I found where the owner of this company made some political comments a while back in a newsletter to people who signed up to be on it; with his website. Some people took offense to it; and made comments that they would leave negative feedback because of it. I wonder if some of the negative comments about his products is because of personal differences.

Great germination. I bought this to mix in with grass seed for my back yard; as I was having trouble getting anything to grow well, and I have 2 dogs. The good think about clover ( I have read ) is that dogs can pee on it and it will not turn brown. So, if it is mixed in with the grass seed, it help keep the lawn greener.

I also read, that prior to companies trying to sell so much fertilizers and weed killers, this was always part of a grass seed mix as it helped keep the lawn green and clover pulls nitrogen out of the air and down into the soil - win win - no fertilizers!

It is not fully grown in yet, I did just plant this less than a week and a half ago - today is October 22, 2016 but the clover is already about 3/4 of an inch high; which will also help as a natural mulch as the grass fills in. The clover came up in about 3 or 4 days.
Wonderful Product!

Unbelievable product. I planted the seed in the middle of September in Georgia. It sprouted the next day!!! I thought I was hallucinating?! Within five days it grew enough to see the leaves and it looks amazing! Our soil is pretty poor, mainly clay and it still did amazing. Initially I watered it twice a day but now reduced it to once a day. It has been approximately three weeks and the clover is growing stronger each day. I ordered another bag of it to put some more of it in our front yard. Amazing product, amazing results!
Excellent seed.

The weather was still pretty cool when I planted and I wondered if I had wasted my money because I didn't see any clover coming up in my lawn. Then slowly it emerged and took off. For years I fought clover in my lawn spraying it every year with broadleaf weed killer. It finally occurred to me that since clover takes nitrogen from the air and "fixes" it into the soil maybe I could not use chemical fertilizer and have a green lawn without it. I walked around my yard and broadcast this seed by hand since it is much too tiny to use a conventional seeder spreader. You can see everywhere that it landed in arcs around my lawn. It is doing very well even in mid-July while the fescues are going dormant from the heat.

I will be buying more seed this fall to fill in places that I missed.
I have such a lush green yard!

I have been using this in my yard for years. I have 4 20lb French lop rabbits that roam freely in my yard. Up until this year I have had a small 200 square foot yard. The bunnies pee is like poison on my grass. So I started using this clover in my yard, with stunning results. On my small yard I only needed one 5lb bag to cover my entire yard. Grows quickly, with little effort. And withstands the acidic rabbit pee. Moved this year to a half archer lot. So I'm on my third bag of clover this summer. However my yard is stunningly beautiful. I detached the yard, it clearly hasn't been taken great care of over the years. Instead of over seeding with grass seed, I used clover. My neighbors have been stopping to tell my how gorgeous my yard is. Between my bunnies and my beautiful lawn I have been the talk of my new neighbourhood. I'm just waiting on my third bag to arrive to finish a small back section, and I will have a perfect yard with in one week. And plenty of seed left over for any spots needed to be patched up next year.
