Easy to install!

Not Quite a Fit for E70 X5

I am a bit conflicted in my review as I've not found a pair of reasonable priced rails that I like better. That said, the bars were just a bit short for my E70 X5. The best I could do was to get the lower mounting brackets to within about 1/3" of the side rail on each corner. I presume this is why they are not shown as compatible With the E70. It is a unfair to downgrade the product when you use it for an application it is not engineered for so going 4 stars which is what I would give them if they fit properly simply because I'd like a bit more finished look at the side rail attachment points and the huge warning label is obnoxious and difficult to get off.

I installed these on a 2013 BMW X5 and they work great. They look so much better than the bars made by Yakima or Thule. Highly recommended.

Fit perfect on my 2005 BMW X5 3.0. Product was easy to install as the bars are different lengths... one for the front and one for the rear. They are labeled as such so its simple. The wind noise is minimal with the sun roof closed completely and head liner in place. With the headline open but sun roof closed its tolerable but you can definitely hear it. With the sun roof open its noisy. That being said, they are not noisy enough that I remove them when not in use. Overall great product and great price.
