Sooo much better than plastic.

When we only had plastic containers, our designated container cabinet would get quite chaotic. We'd vow to keep it organized but eventually things would get messy and we'd start just tossing the containers in the cabinet. Couldn't find lids, matching sets, had problems fitting everything.
The glass has forced us to stack things nicely and opening the container cabinet is no longer something I dread. The lids all stack well. I never have issues finding the containers I need anymore.

I've tossed out all our plastic with the exception of a few for bringing lunches to work, because the glass is a bit heavy and cumbersome for bringing on my bus and subway commute. The plastic containers would also eventually stain and get grungy looking and the glass containers do not have this issue.

I wish the set came with another larger container, and less small ones.

I have had no issues with microwaving, putting these through the dishwasher, or putting hot soup in them. I do try to be mindful of sudden temperature changes though and avoid it.

I think they're pretty air-tight, because we've left some leftovers in the fridge for far too long, and only when we lifted the lid did we smell the horror that lurked inside.

I like that these are nice thick glass, and very sturdy. I've used them in the fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. I do not put the lids in the microwave however. The only issues I have had in the months since I've bought them are: some of the lids/containers do not want to seal. I have a very hard time getting them to seal correctly. It takes some work but they do finally seal. The other issue is the lids do not easily snap together for storage. I can eventually get them together most of the way, but it's a pain when I'm trying to get them put away. I like to keep them organized, but it's not easy to do when they don't snap together quickly. I wish they would've included more of the bigger size, and maybe make an even bigger one. I haven't used the smallest size at all yet, it's not too handy. The rest have all been used a lot, especially the biggest.

I received the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Glass set of 22 for Christmas. I had wanted to upgrade from my old plastic Rubbermaid tupperware for a while. I like the brand, the lids, and the sizes, but wanted to go from plastic to glass especially for heating leftovers in the microwave. The 22 piece set has mostly the smaller 1 cup and 1.5 cup pieces. Most of our leftovers fit in the larger 4 cup and 5.5 cup sizes. This set of 8 is perfect because only 1 of the pieces is small and it is a better deal than buying the larger ones individually. I love the product. It works great in the microwave. Be careful as sometimes the glass gets hot. The lids fit well. They suction down in the middle instead of fitting over the top. There is a latch on one corner that lifts up to release the suction. All pieces are dishwasher safe and they stack well.

Update after a year of use. We haven't had any issues and like the 2.5 and 4 cup pieces the best for taking leftovers as lunches.

I just got my set of brand new glass storage containers. Was spooning leftovers from the slow cooker into the larger one and it exploded. Not chipped or broke. Literally exploded into hundreds of pieces. I found pieces 5 feet away in my dining room. My hands and feet have pieces of glass in them. This is the first time I used this container.

Update: I contacted Rubbermaid and they acted like they have never had anyone report this and usually anything like this would be due to improper use. I informed them of multiple instances I have found online of this happening to other people and that I was spooning hot food (but not hot enough to even burn my skin... which I know because I ended up covered in the food) into a room temperature container that had only been hand washed once when I unpacked the containers.

I had to go to urgent care to have glass removed from my hands. They told me to send a receipt for the purchase along with pictures of the broken glass and they will send me a check for a refund. Very robotic customer service. No empathy (or surprise) to what had happened.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COST!

I have had these for less than 6 months. I liked them up until today. I put a little frozen peas and a little frozen corn in one and popped in in the microwave just like always, but this time the container exploded after less than a minute in the microwave.

I thought when I read about this in the reviews that they must have done something wrong that caused it. But I've been making peas and corn this way at least once a week for the last 10 years and have never had anything like this happen. Up until 6 months ago, I was using 10 year old Pyrex I bought at an outlet mall.
