The dogs love it

This is a true jem. I first learned of this product from the my vet, He suggested we purchase one because of the Texas heat and humidity. Even though our dogs are indoor, but when they are outside the immediate fresh drink of water is a life saver for them. Good overall construction, Very easy to clean. Both dogs love using it. At first they where a little scared of it because of the noise the hose makes when ever it is refilling itself but after a bit they have gotten used to it a run to it every time they need a drink.

The product works well. Didnt have any issues with leaking just tightened up the components on the supplied rubber washer. This thing is cheap. Less than 20 bucks. Its plastic. If you want a super durable one pay 50 or 60 for it. The clips that hold the cover plate are super jinky thus the 4 star.

All in all it waters like it says. I had to run a strap around the front though to prevent it from sagging due to the thin plastic construction and the two mounting points. The drain plug takes pliers to tighten so it doesn't drip. I have to have pliers next to it to drain and clean. Not much else outn there that hooks to a hose though. Speaking of which, you can't just twist a hose onto it, you have to turn the whole fitting. But for about 20.00 it waters the dogs when we have to leave for the day.

My English mastiff love his new water bowl he always has plenty of clean water. There is a plug in the bottom so you can untwist it and rinse it out. It refills every time the dog takes a drink. I never have to worry about him running out of water or getting dehydrated. I highly recommend for any outside dog.

Works fine but sometimes my bulldog puts her paws on it and it comes off the wall even though we have it very well installed. A water bowl that sits on the ground or on a cement block works better for my dogs.
