This shoe fits like a glove. I have a narrow heal and foot, and this 11 1/2 B is perfect. These shoes will go casual and dress. These are the nicest shoe I have purchased since some Church shoes years ago, and the wing tip is perfect. The price is great. Ferragamo's and Church are great, but this shoe is right up next to them. As you would expect, the finish is perfect, and they are all leather lined.

Saw this 1st at the AE store. I was looking for boots for past 8 to 6 months, but were unable to find one that I can use day to day to casual to formal. I never knew anything about AE, until I walked into the store. Rep told be we have been in business for 90 years, and all of our shoes are made in USA. I told my self ok, and looked around and left. Researched about the AE, and went back for a pare of dress shoe. It didn't look quite right, on my way out saw these, and was in love. All I can say they go with everything, and very well made. Buy them, and you will never look back. I would recommend getting the right size, I spent 40 min at the store just trying few sizes. With the correct size, they fit like gloves. Got it it on Amazon on sale for $300.00.

I have five pairs of Allen Edmonds and all have been wonderful. This pair was also great. You really can't go wrong. Nice thick leather and great foot beds. A tip for breaking these in... wear your thickest pair of long socks and tie the boot as tight as you can stand. Wear all day, after a day they'll have warmed up and molded to your foot. No more break in should be required.

The 8 1/2m exchange is a completely different color, much lighter not as advertised. I've seen other photographs online. I just want the advertised darker shade just an exchange, but the proper darker shade?

These boots are handsome and well crafted. Fits perfectly and requires no break in. A work of art you wear on your feet. A+
