sturdy frame and one that is collapsible

This came in exactly as advertised ! sturdy frame and one that is collapsible. I will mention it if you think you'd just collapse this and take it out whenever you want, you'll probably be upset. The unit is too large and has to many parts for all of that, but the legs do retract so as to allow you the ability to reduce its space consumption. Overall even with the size , id recommend to anyone.

This stand was much nicer than expected for the price. Very well built, easy assembly and much more versatile than described. PERFECT for my 88 key Korg on the bottom and the M Audio Venom on the top rack in the studio. Probably would be a great live setup as well with all the height adjustments, folds up well. Great service from the seller and Amazon as well. On time, quick delivery!!!

Sturdy and versatile... I'd get it again.
Box arrived looking like it had been in a war... was expecting the worse.
Content arrived totally unmarred.
Unintended use: I had a piece of tempered glass and after I noticed the flat rubber bumpers you can slide around on the leg tops I put the glass on it... I now use this for my music workstation. Board across the upper deck holds my monitor and two HS7s

solid built. keep in mind you may need to put the arm parts together in a "2-lefts" or "2-rights" configuration in order for the grooves to line up and the arms to be parallel. i found the upper tier to be strong enough for a medium weight 73 note keyboard. i also like the low profile yet sturdy look of the stand. i have found a way to half-fold the stand while keeping it all intact and still fit it in my car which makes for a really quick setup and tear down. did a lot of research before going with this one and am glad i did.
