Works well

I don't need a calculator that does advanced math functions (since I am barely math functional myself). What I want is a straightforward calculator that adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides, with a memory function. This has that in an easy to use package. Although I didn't buy it for the tape feature, it turns out it's quite handy. Not the prettiest calculator app on the market, but I'll take functionality over looks any day.
Very nice
My 2 Cents•June 17, 2015
As a free app of the day, I am very glad to have this. It's a basic calculator with the addition of being able to assign a value to the tax (TX) keys, and then add or subtract tax. I would think this would be very handy for people who sell items at craft shows, fairs, high school events, etc., along with the usual purposes for a calculator. The virtual adding machine tape is what's going to make it a well-used app.
I won't reiterate suggestions left by other reviewers, but I would like to add that there are no instructions. It was only by going into the settings that I discovered what TX meant! I used scientific calculators in school, and was unfamiliar with the tax function. Very handy indeed!

Office Calculator Pro has Real-world Applications
By CJs Pirate•November 16, 2014
Office Calculator Pro is a decent calculator for your Kindle. It does most real-world tabulations with little extended effort. The keys are large enough even my fat fingers will precisely land in my intended targets.
Office Calculator Pro will do what you need as long as you don't require too much of it.

Almost The Best

I've gotten a lot of calculator apps as free apps of the day, and I can assure you that not all calculators are equal.
This is my first tape calculator though, and what impressed me was its ability to work with very large numbers, which this is only the second calculator app that can do that.
Now, what makes it nice is the tape function but it can be better. How? Add the ability to export the tape to text files or by e-mail. That way you can save the calculations for later review or even printing out if you want to keep a record of it with other non-digital files.
Adding that capability would make this the best of the best calculator apps out there. I mean, what good is virtual tape if you can't save it?

Good specialized tape calculator app for financial applications
Melody•September 4, 2014
It's a good calculator app for those looking for a virtual tape calculator. For anyone else however, the interface may seem stodgy and unnecessary. This is truly an app for the specialized.
In my opinion, it seems to have very few bugs and is quite user-friendly. However, I must admit I've only used it about two times, since I've never found the need to have a tape calculator before, virtual or real.
I can see potential usages for bills, taxes, and other financial applications, however. If you have those needs, this is probably the app for you!
