I have used Karo corn syrup for many years. it does an excellant job in every recipe I try with it. I think many years ago I tried a store brand corn syrup-I was not pleased with it. I got this size bottle due to the price.

No more running to my llocal grocery store to buy the overly priced one pint bottles of Syrup. No I can make caramel (Walnettos) candy to my hearts content.

I use Karo dark corn syrup in my pecan pies. I usually buy the small bottles. I could not find it anywhere where I live. So, off to Amazon.com I went. This is a HUGE container, thus the price they asked. I still have quite a bit left. The only thing that seemed a bit "off" to me was the fact that it did not have a plastic safety seal on the outside of the jug. Other than that, completely satisfied. My pecan pies were delicious! !
