This is a professional quality performance stool. Good fit, adjustable, comfortable and very well made. If you need professional quality, it is worth the little extra you will pay for this stool. I would buy it again.

The stool is very adjustable and comfortable. The only issue is that it's a little difficult to carry (with a double bass). You can buy a separate bag from K&M, but they want an outrageous amount for it.

Love it -- sometimes I just go sit on it during the day for the heck of it, because it's so comfortable. I play three hours in the evenings (professional musician), and at 61 yrs. old, the way I feel at the end of the night is impacted by what I sit on while playing. This is great.

This is a GREAT music stool! I use it both for playing my guitar and for sitting at my keyboard. Since I have a history of back problems, I purchased the optional back rest as well and it gives me excellent support. It was difficult finding a vendor to sell the back rest but it was worth the extra time, effort and expense. I can sit and practice longer without killing my back.
It's by no means the least expensive music stool out there and I can't say I've taken a bunch of them out for a test ride, so don't be afraid to do your homework. But I can say that this one is built very well and I'm delighted with it.

My son uses this when he plays the double bass. He loves it. It is sturdy. The seat is large and generously cushioned. It's adjustability has allowed him to get a good fit for his playing needs. Although it is collapsible to make it easier to pack into a vehicle, there are lighter weight stools we could have purchased. Nevertheless, he loves it and chose it over lighter models. It is much more portable than a standard barstool, which he had used prior to this. The stool looks very professional and would look fitting in a formal concert hall.
