works great for one stick, just what I wanted. Well made keeps butter fresh I use some water and white vinegar mixed in bottom.
I consider this one of my best kitchen "gadgets"

I bought one for myself after admiring my daughter-in-law's; and then, then bought four more as Christmas gifts. The butter is always soft enough to spread bur never loses its stick shape and is always fresh. I consider this one of my best kitchen "gadgets", and it's pretty enough to serve at the table. Fast delivery service was appreciated.

These are the best butter dish out their. I bought one for each of my four kids and my Granddaughter. They really like them. The butter is kept perfectly

I had purchased a butter "crock" a couple years ago. I liked the looks of the crock and liked the idea of having soft butter. But, that style, where you turn the butter upside down in a dish of water didn't work well for me. The butter fell out into the water multiple times. I also found it a bit cumbersome to turn the butter dish upside down with water dripping occasionally. It was rarely used by others in the family. This one, which is more like a traditional butter dish was immediately used by all and it's super easy to change the water without any mess. Very happy.
