Good quality product. It's stretchy and flexible, so you can make minor mistakes in lining up the tape but it will still go on smoothly and look great.
If there were dotted lines (like graph paper lines) on the backing paper or some way for me to cut the strips in perfect sizes to fit on my rebuilt bicycle, the product would be a perfect 5.

Awesome product! This is the second purchase. First time we used it to protect our new car bumper from getting scuffed up with all of the work equipment I had to schlep around. Now we are using to protect the stainless steel top on our new jenn air induction stove...placed just a test piece on the stove top and purposely splashed with hot bacon grease and even set the hot pan on it for a second and no damage at all...cleaned up nicely!

I bought this 3M Film from Vvivid in 2016 and applied it to the interior door panel to protect it from my puppy - works great!
In 2017 I bought two widths of the non-3M products from Vvivid - the 6" width worked just okay, it stuck but didn't stretch or wrap as well as the 3M brand. I also bought Vvivid's 12" and it did not stick at all. I realize I am using it in a non-standard application but I am comparing them to the 3M product which works great. In this case, the higher priced 3M brand is worth the extra cost.

Great Clear Protective Film

Using the old protective strip as a pattern, I just cut and applied a new protective strip to my bike chain stay using this vinyl. It was just what I was looking for. It cuts easily with an Exacto knife or other type of razor knife, and was easy to work with. Also the 6" by 60" size of this film will last a while when I need to add protective "skins" to other items. I don't anticipate any problems with this film.. as once I cleaned my bike of all grease and grime, it went on and adhered very well, and looked professional. Glad I bought this and wish I would have sooner.

This stuff is awesome. I used it as a temporary fix for my door sills on my new car while I save up to buy the OEM illuminated door sill protectors, but I may just forgo those since this stuff protects my car's paint just as well. It was a little tricky to put on (I still have a couple of air bubbles), but this stuff really does smooth out after a few days. All of the minor imperfections I could see during the application process really did disappear after about a week!
