This makes really good broth! Soup without ingredients for when you feel like crud.

In the winter I like to bring this to work when everyone is feeling lousy. This has a good hardy taste to it without being to salty, works wonders during the cold and flu season, at least to brighten your mood.

Was looking for a chicken bouillon cube that didn't contain msg. Saw this in Amazon and decided to try it. I didn't realize how large the jar would be and when I got it I thought, "oh my goodness, this jar is going to last me years and years!". Well, I have had it since Christmas and it is about 2/3 gone already! I love it! It is so nice not to have to buy chicken broth all the time.. I was buying four containers every time I went to Trader Joe's! At $2 a container, that added up fast! For around $15 I can get almost a year's supply and it is great! The taste is excellent, it dissolves nicely, and one cube makes two cups of broth. I will definitely get it again. Oh, and by the way, they originally sent me Beef by mistake and they told me to keep it and they sent me the chicken. I hardly ever use Beef, but I have used a few of those as well and I love them too! So I am totally happy with the company and the product!

I've been using these cubes for a couple of years, & can speak to my own experience re: gluten. I am VERY sensitive to gluten in foods, even in very small amounts, and have never had any symptoms from this product. I was diagnosed celiac over 12 years ago, & have therefore had WAYYYY too much experience with finding out the hard way that gluten is lurking in this or that product. I'm not sure why the product label doesn't specifically say "GF," but it certainly has been safe for me --and as I mentioned, I get bad symptoms from incredibly tiny amounts of gluten.

As for the other issue, the flavor of this product is great. I use it to ramp up my chicken soups, stews, pot pies, and even the turkey tetrazzini I'm rather addicted to. Great stuff, and has a wonderfully long shelf life without loss of flavor or quality (handy since I live alone).

So glad I purchased these. They are marvelous. When I would buy stock in a box, I would try to get it on sale then more times than not it would go out of date. With the bullion I have no worries and the flavor is the best, not overly salty, very very good.

This is my favorite Chicken Bouillon. It's easy to use, and not overly salty. The cubes themselves are soft, and easily mushed with a fork or fingers. They dissolve quickly in hot water. The container keeps them fresh.

Each cube makes 2 cups of broth. Because the cubes are soft, it's very easy to break one in half if only 1 cup is needed.
