Very solid!
Amazon CustomerSeptember 3, 2018
Very solid and strong. For some dumb reason stock tacomas only come with one pair of d-rings on the floor and they're back by the tailgate. I installed 2 more pairs (one at the middle and one at the front of the bed) and I use them all the time!
Awesome/easy Tacoma upgrade

Simple install and have been very handy. I installed these under the existing bolts that hold the bed to the frame, near the front of the box (closest to the cab) on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. If you plant to make the same install, just know that you will need a grinder or file (I recommend a grinder/dremel to save time) to get the washer off that you will be replacing with these rings.
deck d rings for tacoma
gene millerJune 4, 2016
This is an item that you would think would have come with the tacoma new....but they only put two on the rear deck....I wanted another set near the front of the deck. The product was easy to install and works great as advertised. I used the existing bolts in the truck bed. You will have to wear down the upper threads on the bolt to allow taking off the washer. Since I am in the process of moving most of my tools were packed. Normally you would use a file wear the threads down on the bed bolts but didn't have one so I just used the inner teeth of a standard pliers to wear the threads down moving it back and forth with the ratchet and holding the pliers. I know that is not the recommended way but it worked extremely easy.

I went to install these and there are threading issues with the back plates of both of these. They are oem and don't swivel either. I needed them ASAP and am disappointed spending the extra money for overnight shipping for such poor quality control.
Finally, floor tie downs near the cab

These are perfect for what I wanted to do. I took out the two bolts holding the bed to the frame closest to the cab and put the d-rings on them. There is a little work to do if you want to do it that way, but I highly recommend it. The bolts have an attached washer that needs to be taken off. You need to grind down the grooves holding the washer on the bolt with a dremel, slide the washer off, then paint the exposed metal on the bolt. After that the d-ring goes on the bolt first, then the washer, then bolt back in. I'm not sure why toyota didn't do this in the first place, but for $20 you can't go wrong.
