Product seems sturdy, very easy to put together
Annie•August 30, 2017
We Recently moved and have a shower in our new master bathroom with no ledges or seats. I had gotten used to the small corner seat in the shower of our old house. I wanted to get something to not only sit on on occasion, but have something to lift up my legs for ease of shaving. Product seems sturdy, very easy to put together. I like how it is adjustable. We've had it for a few weeks now and it's working out great.
NOT STURDY AT ALL
NURSE Sam•August 20, 2017
I'm a 45 year old average sized woman with a fractured foot. I bought this to use in my shower while I'm recovering from my injury. As soon as it gets wet/soapy, the rubber grips slip around in the bottom of the shower and the legs start to spread apart and I felt like I was gonna slide off and crack my head open! I can't imagine if I was an elderly person and had balance issues, or god forbid tried to use this while alone!
DANGEROUS!!!

This chair needs to be removed from the marketplace. I bought this because the weight limits were higher and it had a good rating. It feels extremely cheap. The suction cups on the feet don't work and the legs don't sit flat. I was 2 minutes into my first post-op shower after haveing ankle reconstruction surgery when the legs on this chair buckled underneath me, causing me flip backward, hit my head on the faucet and have my foot bang hard on the ground. TERRIBLE. I am extremely sore and my foot hasn't stopped throbbing. The seat itself is not nonslip and despite having holes, still had puddled water.
This is a horrible seat for anyone to use in the shower, let alone someone who has just had major surgery. Please do not buy this seat and warn your loved ones of it's dangers.
Best Buy!

This stool was perfect for my mother in law who has disabilities. It fit in a standard bathtub perfectly!

Criteria for products I review with Amazon's Rating Criteria in Parentheses:
"¢ 1 star (I hate it!): Feel it's a waste of money. Will never use it again. Would never recommend. Not safe to use. Either throw away or return it.
"¢ 2 star (I don't like it): Don't like it and wouldn't use it again, but may still have at least 1 positive thing about it.
"¢ 3 star (It's ok): Product has both positives and negatives, and I may or may not continue using it. Someone else may like it more and is potentially still worth purchasing.
"¢ 4 star (I like it): Item as described in functionality, purpose and quality. May have 1 or 2 things I don't care for or would change, but not big issues. Would recommend it if asked.
"¢ 5 star (I love it!): Practically perfect. Nothing is lacking in functionality or quality. Love it and would not only recommend, but would purchase for others and continue to purchase for myself.
Bruised and sore after chair collapsed

I'm very disappointed in this product. After undergoing ankle surgery a shower chair was recommended. I noted that this one seemed a little wobbly on the carpet as we were setting it up but figured that something designed for those who are unable to stand could not possibly be faulty. I placed it in the tub and carefully sat down. (I, too, am under the weight limit so I did not imagine what would happen next). As soon dat down, the seat legs buckled in and I fell backwards in the tub. The only way to get me up was to have several people help me. We found the placing a simple folding chair (like from a card table) was the purfect solution and much more sturdy. Regardless of your weight, this is a poorly constructed item and if you are in a physical state where you need an item like this, I am willing to bet that a big fall is the exact thing that you don't need.
